Hi everyone Millennium Centre here we come stunning Rooms 20 and 16.  Yaay a day of swimming fun.  Here we are on the bus.

I am so so proud of the all the children of  Room 16 who have learnt their mihi and karakia so early in the term!  The children have done so well that some were chosen to tautoko(help or support) other classes in the school both in the morning and end of school to help their classes learn the karakia..

Friday 18th March Whole School Assembly

Well, well,  well another whole school assembly is upon us.

Mrs Drivers dazzling talk was about our brand new reading books that we get next term.  Yaay!

Our song was "Lost Property Box"

We saw all the lost property that we have at Sunnyhills.  We were reminded to look after our stuff and make our clothes and things are all named.

Our Principal Cetificate was awarded to Joshua Brown for excellent Word Study work.
Well done Joshua!

Library Time

Every Monday morning we have our Library time.

We are learning to use the library correctly and effectively.

"It's really neat to read outside in the shade" said Kobi.

Unfortunately our Library time was interupted by a "fire alarm" drill.

What strategies can we use to be a team?

"You have to talk to each other and call mine" said Rajeev.

"We held hands and hit it with our hands and our heads" said Stella.

How did it make you feel and your team did the right thing?

"Really good" said Lauren

Whole school Assembly Friday 4 March 2016

......Once upon a time there was a school who had it's assembly every 2nd Friday......

Mrs Driver "dazzled" us speaking about the senior camp, kapahaka and the coming happenings next week.  She also told us to keep "learning for life"

The song for this week was Kiwi kids

Well done to Jenny Huang who received R16's Principals Certificate for Awesome Basic Facts Results.

During special spot we even learnt our 6 timetables with Room 6 WOW!

Another good assembly see you all at our next assembly in 2 weeks.
